On 18th August 2024, the Nagpur District Equestrian Association collaborated with the Rotary Club of Nagpur Elite to organize an inspiring Horse Riding Awareness Activity at the Government Medical College Sports Complex. The event turned out to be a remarkable success, attended by over 50 participants, including enthusiastic students from GMC.
The activity was graciously inaugurated by Rotary Club President Rtr.Dr. Sushma Deshmukh, who warmly welcomed the gathering.
Special thanks are due to the Project Director, Rtn. Dr. Alhad Mohite, who, along with his academy team, made an impressive entrance with a procession of horses and riders. His educational session on the basics of horse riding was not only informative but also captivating, sparking great interest among the attendees.
The presence of esteemed guests, including Chief Guest Deputy Collector Mr. Piyush Chiwande, added to the significance of the event. Mr. Chiwande delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the timeless bond between horses and humans and their crucial role in history.
Guest of honor, Mr. Pramod Ladve, the (Founder & Trainer) of The Horse Riding Academy Nagpur, was also present along with his students, further enhancing the event’s prestige.
The activity was a perfect blend of education, interaction, and hands-on experience with horses. Attendees had the opportunity to not only learn about horse riding but also engage with the majestic animals on the field.
A special note of gratitude goes to Dr. Raj Gajbhiye, Dean of GMC, Nagpur, for granting permission to host this enriching program at the college’s sports complex. His support was invaluable in making this event possible.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Rtn. Secretary Admin Rtn. Pramod Misal, while Secretary Project Shilpali Bhalerao ensured the smooth conduct of the event.
